Dear Friends,
God bless you, your loved ones and your ministries this week!
This weekend we drove through a snowstorm with cars off the road to the left and the right to see my mom who is failing fast. It's a good thing that we did. It was a heartbreaking visit.
This morning I was sitting at the breakfast table crying over my mom and my puppy heard me. He came racing at top speed to jump in my lap and lick my face. He gave me an amazingly sympathetic look. It felt like God was comforting me through my pooch.
It's heartening to know that pure love wins out in the end over anything else. Life really is simple after all.
Love, Sue

Painted Prayers for the Earth
Dear Friends,
God bless you, your loved ones and your ministries this week!
I am working on a new series of paintings called, "Painted Prayers for the Earth". They are similar in style to the Painted Prayers for Haiti except I am limiting my pallette to the six tertiary colors (red/orange, red/violet, blue violet, blue green, yellow green, and yellow/orange) plus black and white. All of my colors will be clean, which means that none of them will be mixed with brown, gray or black. I will mix them with white though.
I am working on one that I started last Wed. morning. I worked on it for 3 days in a row and took the weekend off to spend time with my family.
It is only about 1/2 way done. When I finish, I will post it for you to see.
Love, Sue
